Press Release Monday 08 March 2004 – A brand new industry initiative has been set up to give busy bar, club, hotel and restaurant professionals their own members club and a superb Monday night rendez-vous in central London. The Soho Honey Club will launch on Monday 05 April at The Player and Milk & Honey in Soho, London. The Soho Honey Club is a non-profit organisation established and operated for benefit of its members. Membership is by invitation only and applications are subject to approval by a Membership Committee of leading industry figures. Individual annual membership for the first 500 founding members costs just £35. Members will be entitled to a variety of benefits (see below). The Honey Club is set to become the Monday night meeting place for busy, senior and successful professionals working in and around the hospitality industry - from general managers to journalists, DJs to designers, chefs to PRs and bartenders to brand managers. Every Monday of every month members and their guests are invited to join fellow industry professionals for cocktails and conversation. Members will be entitled to great deals on some of the best drinks made with market-leading premium brands. Each month the Club will focus on a drinks category, brand portfolio or range of wines, beers and spirits.
